bikestyle - Cycling 101
Can you fix a flat or perform basic bike maintenance?

Do you know what to take on a ride?

Can you ride in a pack comfortably?

What’s a 53-11?

So you don’t have answers to all the questions, but that doesn’t slow you down; you go out and ride, suffer and maybe even place ‘the call’ for help when something goes wrong. Many working cyclists struggle with the basics of the sport. Let’s face it – maybe you don’t have the time to make the group rides or read the latest news in the mags or the web.
Cycling 101

Enter stage right - Our crash course on the basics: Cycling - 101.
This course primarily exists for the new cyclist and/or the intermediate cyclist looking to further understand the ins and outs of the sport. Cycling IS an amazing sport; however there is much to understand. What to take? Where to ride? How to ride? Who to ride with? What to watch for? These are just some of the things you will learn while attending this session.

Let us provide you the essential basics in an easy to understand classroom session. These lessons can be taught one of two ways – 1) one session on a weekend day, or 2) broken up into smaller sessions periodically during week nights. Your choice.

Normally it would take months of riding in order to pick up the information necessary to be fully prepared. Trust us - we didn’t attend a clinic for learning the sport, but we would have if we could. These clinics are designed to teach you the basics for surviving and improving on your bicycle. Ride your bike with confidence; these are designed to make you a happy and healthier cyclist.
